Get Involved

Below are the projects you can get involved with to help put knowledge into action:

Langar London

Inspiration for the project: Gurubachan Singh Khalsa has been carrying the Gurus teachings, flying all over the South American Continent with a team of volunteers to share the message of Shabad Guru and the experience of Kundalini Yoga. Also, he has been Yogi Bhajan’s cook for 25 years and was asked by him to do the Lord of Miracles tour. Gurubachan Singh Khalsa visited the ProjectNaad team in January 2008 and suggested that Langar London be started, just like similar initiatives have been done so all over the world.
Aims of the project: To serve free food selflessly to those in need of it in the London area on a weekly basis.

Sikh Comics and Sikh Bedtime Stories

Inspiration for the project: Onkar Singh had attended a corporate Sikh dinner at one of the big four consultancy firms in London and one of the attendees mentioned that she had tried very hard to find Sikh comics for her children and good quality bed time Sakhi books with colourful illustrations of the Sikhs Gurus and their lives but that there were none available! So this project is to setup a Sikh Comics and Sikh Bedtime stories book series.
